Role Description
Please note, applicants must be British Citizens or have full settled status to apply.
Key activities to include:
- Enforcing governance processes and standards to ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
- Providing support for internal governance forums
- Analysing project data and performance metrics to provide insights and recommendations to Project / Programme Managers
- Support with assisting in resource allocation across projects
- Supporting projects where required
- Assisting with internal communications facilitating communication across the business
- Support the onboarding of new staff where required
- Booking hotels and travel
- Support finance with invoicing
- Reconciliation of Amex statement to expense form and receipts

Essential Skills and experience
- Experience of working in a Portfolio Office environment within Financial Services
- Demonstrable ability to build positive relationships through strong communication influencing and negotiating with project and programme stakeholders
- Attention to detail and quality
- Organisation and financial management skills
- Excellent time management and the ability to work under pressure
- Demonstrable experience of applying and advising project governance frameworks
- Good understanding of Project lifecycle
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Desirable skills and experience
- Proven experience working in a Portfolio environment within a Financial Services institution
- Book keeping experience

Attain a professional Project Management Qualification (Prince2, PMP, Agile or equivalent) as directed by your manager.
