Successful start to Intellica’s Graduate Programme!

Intellica, the independent provider of data management and business change services, successfully launched its 2020/21 Graduate Programme at the end of last year.

The programme is designed to give recent university graduates with maths and IT-related degrees their first jobs in the pensions and digital industries, allowing them to gain a wide range of experience in all areas of Intellica’s work and learn from our experienced team of experts and innovators.

Through our structured programme, the graduates will gain experience across our business specialisms, including technology development, business management, sales and technical pensions administration, with the guidance and support of a dedicated mentor.

Amy Currie, Head of Intellica’s Graduate Programme, said “It’s refreshing during these times to be in a position to recruit and grow our team, especially providing opportunities for young people who are just starting out in their career.

“At Intellica you are part of a close-knit team, therefore as soon as you walk through the door you have a massive opportunity in front of you to have an overall impact on the team and company as an individual.

“You have to adapt quickly to a fast-paced working environment and develop your skills with the help and support of the more experienced members of the team.”

The successful Junior Data Analysts shared their thoughts about their first weeks in the programme.

Adi Kotian said: “To date, nothing has made myself or my parents prouder than joining Intellica Ltd in a role which will see me develop my skills to eventually become an effective Data Scientist.

“I cannot wait to face the challenges which lay ahead and overcome them to grow not only as a professional but also as an individual.

“Exciting times lie ahead with Intellica developing and maturing as a company to become one of the leaders in the pensions industry and I am excited to be a part of this growth.”

Ben Johnson said: “I am pleased to have become part of Intellica’s Graduate Programme at a period of remarkable transformation, both for the company and the Pensions sector.

“With topics such as GMP Equalisation and the Pensions Dashboard being major issues for Pension Schemes, I look forward to working with clients to help them adapt to these challenges and contribute to their accurate data objectives.’’

Junayd Mohammed said: “This is an exciting opportunity to join Intellica and be surrounded by some of the sharpest minds the Pensions and Financial services have to offer.

“I am keen to prove myself in the coming weeks to help the team achieve solutions to help our clients achieve their data requirements.”

Lauren Shillcock said: “I am extremely pleased to be starting my career with Intellica as part of their Graduate Programme at such an exciting time for the company and industry.

“I am eager to begin working on the various projects across the business as well as developing my technical skills by learning first-hand from the experts on the team.’’
